Huskie Hoopfest 2017

Huskie Hoopfest is a high performance camp designed for serious basketball players who are currently age 13-17, and want to develop elite level skills and test themselves against the best competition in their age group.

Many present and former Huskie Men’s Basketball players have participated in this event, and have found it to play a key role in their development as an elite level player. Nearly fifty past participants have gone on to play at the post-secondary level.

The primary goal of Huskie Hoopfest 2017 is elite player development, as well as player identification for the Huskie Men’s Basketball program. Players participating in the program may also earn an invitation to participate in the try-out process for the Junior Huskies Basketball teams.

Huskie Hoopfest 2017 will offer seven hours of instruction and drills, as well as challenging competition under the supervision of an outstanding group of coaches. Our goal is to provide participants the knowledge and skills necessary to reach their full potential.

Each participant will receive:

• Strength/Speed/Agility training session conducted by Huskie Men’s Basketball Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jordan Harbidge
• A “Huskie Hoopfest” T-shirt
• On-court Skill Instruction sessions by the coaching staff and players from the Huskie Men’s Basketball team
• Opportunity to be invited to the final tryout sessions for the Jr. Huskies Club team

All sessions are held at the PAC on the U of S campus located at 87 Campus Drive .
